Progressive muscle relaxation helps you to actively relax your body. 

I have recorded a guide to this relaxation for you, and you can listen to it directly here or download it as an MP3 file.

All you need is a quiet place, a surface such as a yoga mat and a blanket - and of course a little time. You lie down, cover yourself and start the audio file.

You will feel refreshed and rested after the exercises. The more often you do these exercises, the more it becomes a meditation. You concentrate completely on your body and can switch off wonderfully.

you become calmer Your heart and circulation will also calm down. If you do these exercises regularly, it can help you to be less nervous - and your muscles just don't hurt as much.

More relaxation = less tight muscles = less pain.
